Parents are from 8 lbs. - 14 lbs.
Puppies will be about the same.
Occasionally a grandparent gene slips in & may result in a smaller or larger puppy.

​I get free DNA testing for all puppies at work. She came back with absolutely no genetic condition markers and 100% dachshund (obviously) 1/2 smooth 1/2 longhair.
This checks for a number of disorders that can be concerning for surgery and drug reactions.
