Mouse has her own Facebook blog

Just like Mouse was a peanut in her birth story on Facebook, she had a little "peanut" in her 2020 litter. I had to hand feed the pup around the clock for a couple weeks till she was ready to fend for herself.

Nutrition
Is an important part of the health & size of your puppy. Feeding good food will help their coats, bones and backs develop properly. Dachshunds DO NOT need extra weight on their backs. I have used Purina nutrition for 27 years! A bad diet can often show up in problems such as allergies, overweight, underweight, and coat issues just to name a few. Always consult your veterinarian if any of these problems appear. |

Potty Training
We start potty training within a few days after puppy's eyes come open, around two weeks of age.
We change their bed daily until they are completely using their papers.
If you leave a puppy in a soiled bed, it will feel this is okay and develop the habit of peeing in it's bed.
A hard habit to break if you get a puppy with no potty training.
Most our clients say their puppy was completely potty trained to their new home in just a couple of weeks.
Consistency is the key & we have proven techniques to help you!

Dachshunds can swim, it's true!
The sooner you introduce them to the water, the less likely they are to fear it.
